‘Is Obama Smarter Than a 5th Grade Jaywalker?’
Election 2008 Doug Patton

Presidential hopeful Barack Obama has an indicted, Syrian-born Chicago shyster named Tony Rezko for a financial mentor. He has a screwball, race-baiting, America-hating pastor named Jeremiah Wright for a spiritual mentor. He has an unrepentant domestic terrorist named William Ayers for a political mentor. And he has one of the angriest wives ever to aspire to the position of First Lady.   More...

Obama and Ahmadinejad: Trust But Don’t Verify
Election 2008 Aaron Goldstein

Should Barack Obama be elected President of the United States this November then we can expect him to climb aboard Air Force One and fly to Tehran to initiate a conversation with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.   More...

‘McCain Talks Tough on Judges But Can He Be Trusted?’
Election 2008 Tom Fitton

Senator John McCain gave a speech recently on the need to appoint judges that interpret laws rather than legislate from the bench. There was a lot to like about what he had to say on judicial activism. McCain said, “The moral authority of our judiciary depends on judicial self restraint,” and railed against the “systematic abuse” by judges who push their liberal agendas through judicial fiat. He also took issue with “Senate obstructionism” practiced by liberals who are blocking the president’s judicial nominees. The speech seems designed to help McCain firm up his conservative base.   More...

Obama Agrees to PROTECT Union Corruption, not Eliminate it
Election 2008 Warner Todd Huston

So, Barack Obama claims he is a reformer. He claims he wants to clean up Washington D.C. He acts as if he just wants the truth told to the people. Well, here is some truth. According to the Wall Street Journal(1) Barack has promised the Teamsters that if they give him their support he will kill the current Federal oversight agency that was created to root out union corruption in the workplace.    More...

I Still Don’t Believe Obama
Election 2008 Aaron Goldstein

When the now infamous Reverend Jeremiah Wright video surfaced in March, I found myself unable to believe Barack Obama.  (1). I found it hard to believe that Barack Obama had never heard Reverend Wright utter a negative word about America.  I found it hard to believe that Barack Obama would title one of his autobiographies from one of Reverend Wright’s sermons and then not know what he actually preached.   More...

I’m a Bitter/Clingy Gun Owner - and I’m Happy About It!
Election 2008 Doug Giles

Obama, the great healer of America, the hope of our nation, came out last week and whizzed on millions of Christians and firearm fans calling us bitter Cling-Ons to religion and guns. I, personally, wasn’t insulted because I really like God and my rifles, and I make a good living off my rage.   More...

Election 2008 60 Plus Association

Washington, DC – The head of a senior citizens’ organization called on Rep. John Murtha (D-PA) to apologize to older Americans for his thoughtless remarks yesterday that John McCain is ‘too old to be President.’   More...

‘Hillary Versus Obama: Whose Lies Will Prevail?’
Election 2008 Christopher G. Adamo

Perhaps the most striking conclusion to be drawn from this week’s Pennsylvania Primary is that, despite its results, nothing in the Democrat Party’s currently tangled state will change. And this would have been so, no matter how the election had unfolded.   More...

With Obama, it’s the Communism, Stupid
Election 2008 Cliff Kincaid

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama tried to deflect a question about his relationship with terrorist Bill Ayers by saying that he “engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8-years-old” and that he was now a professor and a neighbor. The real issue is whether Obama shares Ayers’ communist views. Obama admitted to exchanging ideas with Ayers on an irregular basis but did not say what those ideas were. But we know that Ayers, rather than just being a 1960s “radical,” was a member of a Marxist-Leninist communist group.   More...

Donkeys, Elephants and Political Truths
Election 2008 Tom Segel

Harlingen, Texas, April 17,2008: During the presidential campaign of 1828 Democrat Andrew Jackson was labeled a “jackass” because he was perceived to have stubborn and stupid political views.  One hundred and nine years later that label still hangs around the neck of the Democratic Party. The party never adopted the jackass label, but it became an accepted party symbol by the people. Over the course of time political spinners changed the term from jackass to a donkey that was “clever and courageous”, and the party has continued to spin that image.   More...

Barack Obama: Cultural anthropologist
Election 2008 Warren Throckmorton

Barack Obama has a way with words. They trip lightly from his tongue; in fact, some onlookers have swooned during his oratory. No one doubts his speechmaking ability. When opining off-the-cuff, however, he can get into trouble. Case in point: At a recent fundraiser among wealthy donors in San Francisco, some in the audience were preparing to join the Pennsylvania campaign and wondered aloud what questions Pennsylvanians might ask them. In taped remarks, Mr. Obama rightly noted that Pennsylvania is quite diverse and dismissed racism as a barrier to his campaign.   More...

‘Will Leftist Evangelicals Demand Believers Get On Obama Bandwagon?’
Election 2008 Frederick Meekins

Just because some white liberals are going out of their way to vote for Barack Obama for no other reason than that he happens to be half-black, some within the Evangelical leadership are once again beating on their drums about congregations being too split along racial and ethnic lines.   More...

Two Kinds of Blacks Force Two Americas
Election 2008 Kevin Roeten

Moral divisions divide America much more so than race or economics. The White race exhibits this phenomenon, but Blacks are not equally divided. Instead of a close 50/50 split in most white communities, there seems to be a 90/10 split with Blacks. Especially on abortion.   More...

Hillary’s “Sniper Fire” + Obama’s Pastor Disaster = McCain Looking McFine
Election 2008 Doug Giles

Hillary tried to garner some Fifty Cent-like street credit last week by lying to us all that a sniper tried to bust a cap in her while she was chillin’ in Bosnia back in the day. Fo’ shizzle, Hillarizzle.   More...

The Duplicity of Hope: The Amazing Allegiance of Obama’s Believers
Election 2008 Doug Giles

Barack Obama came out this past week in Philly and denied knowing that his pastor (for the last 20 years, not days or months, but 20 years) is a mad black anti-American racist. Not only did Barack deny knowing that his scribe was an unpatriotic, imbalanced bigot, but he also said he didn’t even know Wright was black until last Monday. Obama had been thinking all along that “Uncle” Jeremiah was Chinese or something.   More...
