‘Will Leftist Evangelicals Demand Believers Get On Obama Bandwagon?’
Election 2008 Frederick Meekins

Just because some white liberals are going out of their way to vote for Barack Obama for no other reason than that he happens to be half-black, some within the Evangelical leadership are once again beating on their drums about congregations being too split along racial and ethnic lines.   More...

Two Kinds of Blacks Force Two Americas
Election 2008 Kevin Roeten

Moral divisions divide America much more so than race or economics. The White race exhibits this phenomenon, but Blacks are not equally divided. Instead of a close 50/50 split in most white communities, there seems to be a 90/10 split with Blacks. Especially on abortion.   More...

Hillary’s “Sniper Fire” + Obama’s Pastor Disaster = McCain Looking McFine
Election 2008 Doug Giles

Hillary tried to garner some Fifty Cent-like street credit last week by lying to us all that a sniper tried to bust a cap in her while she was chillin’ in Bosnia back in the day. Fo’ shizzle, Hillarizzle.   More...

The Duplicity of Hope: The Amazing Allegiance of Obama’s Believers
Election 2008 Doug Giles

Barack Obama came out this past week in Philly and denied knowing that his pastor (for the last 20 years, not days or months, but 20 years) is a mad black anti-American racist. Not only did Barack deny knowing that his scribe was an unpatriotic, imbalanced bigot, but he also said he didn’t even know Wright was black until last Monday. Obama had been thinking all along that “Uncle” Jeremiah was Chinese or something.   More...

‘Gov. Richardson’s Endorsement of Obama a Media Scam?’
Election 2008 Jim Kouri

On Friday, the mainstream news media breathlessly announced that Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico endorsed Barack Obama in his run for the Democrat nomination for President of the United States.   More...

My Whiteness Versus My Wrightness
Election 2008 Lee Culpepper

Watching the “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright gesticulate like a horny peacock and spew out ignorance, hatred, and bitterness towards America last week, absolutely inspired my religious faith (View Wright’s sermon- 1).   More...

Obama Supporters Can Say Anything
Election 2008 Sher Zieve

While the other two presidential candidates are lining up to apologize for anything and everything - that may be even remotely considered negative - said by their supporters against Sen. Barack Obama, Obama and his supporters seem to be able to get away with saying and doing just about anything they want.  This includes the further demeaning of and cursing the United States of America.  And these come from the pulpit of Obama’s church - Trinity United Church of Christ.  And speaking of cursing, let’s take a look at Obama’s proclaimed “spiritual-mentor” for over 20 years - Pastor Jeremiah Wright.   More...

Obama or Clinton? White Men Will Decide
Election 2008 Carey Roberts

As Barack Obama relishes his recent primary victories in Wyoming and Mississippi, let’s probe the dynamics of race and gender in this increasingly-bitter Democratic race.   More...

Preserving the Constitution
Election 2008 J.J. Jackson

Following her primary victories over rival Barack Obama on Tuesday, Hillary Clinton proclaimed, “We’re going to protect our country and preserve our Constitution. We’re going to lead with our values.” So, once again Clinton has said two different things at the same time. Sort of like when she didn’t support supporting her non-support for her support of driver’s licenses for illegals.   More...

A Primer on Oil Prices
Election 2008 Alan Caruba

"The tripling of oil prices since the summer of 2003 has unleashed forces that within the next two or three years will bring oil prices tumbling back down to below $50 a barrel.” So said John Cassidy, writing about “The Coming Oil Crash” in the January issue of Conde Nast Portfolio. Yes, the price of oil will come down, though no one knows exactly when. It has topped $100 a barrel and there are indications it could go higher.   More...

The Affirmative-Action Campaign
Election 2008 Thomas E. Brewton

Senator Clinton’s campaign emphasis on skill and experience is out of harmony with affirmative action, in which diversity is the prime criterion.   More...

‘Do You Want A First Lady Who Is Ashamed Of This Country?’
Election 2008 Dave Gibson

Michelle Obama has sent shockwaves through the political world and has damaged her husband’s bid for the White House with her recent remarks. To the casual observer, it may seem strange how the daughter of a city water department worker who went on to graduate from Princeton University as well as Harvard Law School could somehow hold a grudge against the nation where that journey took place. However, a closer look at the Obamas reveals where their true loyalties lie.   More...

‘Will Obama be our Second Anti-American President?’
Election 2008 Sher Zieve

Arguably, Democrat Jimmy Carter - with his work toward decimating the US economy and his past and apparently current support of the Islamist enemies of the USA and humanity - was the first anti-American (if not anti-democracy) President of the United States.  Almost single-handedly, Carter also destabilized the Middle East by working to allow the overthrow of the pro-US Shah of Iran, in order to create a power vacuum that permitted radical Islamists to take over that country.  Carter was also instrumental in causing radical Islam to seize the US Embassy and its staff in Iran, which resulted in the 14-month Hostage Crisis.  The Carter-created hostage disaster ended only after Republican Ronald Reagan was elected President of the United States - replacing the feckless Carter.  Carter, with all of his positions and actions during his single-term presidency - and beyond - may have been our first truly anti-American president.    More...

‘Can Obama be an Ethical President?’
Election 2008 Bruce Walker

Would Barack Obama be an ethical president?  That sounds like a silly question, but it is a salient question.  As far as we know, Senator Obama has been a fairly ethical senator.  If there had been much muck on him, the Clinton Machine would have let enough get out to smear him.  The brief public history of Barack Obama does not sound like a fundamentally corrupt man.   More...

The Endorsement That John McCain Kept Quiet
Election 2008 Dave Gibson

Realizing that he needs the support of conservatives to have a chance at winning the general election, John McCain has toned-down his pro-illegal alien rhetoric. However, actions speak louder than words and based on McCain’s past actions, a leading Latino newspaper which supports a completely open border between the U.S. and Mexico recently endorsed McCain.   More...
