Death by Democracy - Unwanted Freedom
Progressivism item by Guest: JB Williams

Clearly, based upon the voting habits of the average American ever since FDR introduced Big Brother’s “New (Nanny State) Deal,” freedom is just too tough for the average American. That’s the only way to explain why Americans are voting themselves back into bondage in an effort to trade their freedom for free-stuff.

Battle Royal Between CA Nurse Union and Services Employee Union
Progressivism item by Warner Todd Huston

OK, folks, grab the popcorn and settle in for this hilarious tale of union against union. It’s an epic battle of lies, underhandedness, brute force, and sweetheart deals that pits the California Nurses Association (CAN) against the Services Employees International Union (SEIU). The two unions are at each other’s throats for the prize of representing employees in the Catholic hospitals of the state of Ohio.

Destroying American Culture: Multiculturalism
Multiculturalism item by Guest: Frosty Wooldridge

Less than 30 years ago, most everything in America enjoyed the moniker “All American.” Sports heroes became “All Americans.” When you bought a product, it read, “Made in America.” Everyone spoke English and raised their hands to their hearts while saying, “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God with liberty and justice for all.”

McCain, Soros, and the New “Global Order”
NewWorldOrder item by Accuracy In Media: Cliff Kincaid

It’s not the kind of endorsement that a Republican presidential candidate should welcome. But former Clinton State Department official and alleged Russian dupe Strobe Talbott says that Senator John McCain and Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are all “moderate pragmatists” in foreign policy “with the demonstrated ability to reach across party lines.”

Obama or Clinton? White Men Will Decide
Elections item by The New Media Alliance(NMA): Carey Roberts

The Southern Baptist March Towards Irrelevance
Bird-Brain Flu item by The New Media Alliance(NMA): Christopher Adamo

Some of life’s concepts are so defining that, by their very nature, they preclude any alternatives. An individual who is honest ninety-nine percent of the time is a “liar.” Someone who is almost always sober is properly deemed a “drunk.” No common ground exists between the absolutes of right and wrong. And any attempts at finding or establishing such domain will be in vain. Jesus elucidated this perfectly when He warned against the futility of attempting to serve “two masters.”

Democrats on Prozac
Demercrats item by The New Media Alliance(NMA):

Growing up in America in the seventies and eighties, I really had no concept of geography or international relations. My public and private school educations managed to avoid the whole concept of the world outside of the United States, with the exception of England and the Soviet Union. I was aware that France and Canada existed, to be fair, and I had heard of Mexico. However, I was taught about other things, like the coming Ice Age, recycling, and how overpopulation would have so outstripped the food supply by the year 2000 that most people would be retarded due to malnutrition. Somehow, the teachers managed to sneak basic arithmetic and a reading list into the curriculum mandated by the government and assisted by the teacher’s union, so I grew up a functional citizen. My extracurricular interests included reading, girls and cars. I continued through college, marriage, running a business, fatherhood, divorce and remarriage, blissfully ignorant of the larger context of things.

America’s Bakers March on Washington
Bird-Brain Flu item by Alan Caruba

On March 12, the American Baking Association, representing 85% of the total baking industry, will lead a “Band of Bakers March on Washington.” Representatives from more than 50% of the nation’s largest baking companies will call on Congress to correct the policies it has created over the years that have led to soaring food and oil prices.

School-Sponsored Smut
EdukShun item by Accuracy In Media: Bethany Stotts

A new genre has been added to the list of promoted high school literature: racist gay porn. Deerfield High School of Deerfield, Illinois decided to integrate the Pulitzer Award-winning play, Angels in America: a Gay Fantasia On National Themes into its curriculum. The play features pervasive swearing, graphic sexual content, bigoted remarks, and involves sexual experiences profaning both angels and the Mother Theresa. If high schools are sensitive about assigning Mark Twain’s great classic, Huckleberry Finn, due to its pejorative language, then why is Deerfield High promoting Angels in America?

Big Brother item by The New Media Alliance(NMA): Thomas E. Brewton

No Room for Christianity in the Religion of the Left
Progressivism item by Guest: Dennis Campbell

Is the American Left religious? That depends on your definition of “religion,” and finding one that is universally agreed-upon is impossible.

Blood, Guts and Al Gore
Demercrats item by Guest: Doug Patton

As Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama continue to strut their stuff on the campaign trail, memories of 1968 Chicago are creeping into the nightmares of Democrats everywhere.

Harsh Domestic Violence Laws Recall Jim Crow Abuses
Femi-Nazis item by The New Media Alliance(NMA): Carey Roberts

Misty Ospina was dropping off her eight-month-old child at Richard Gibson’s apartment when the two fell into an argument. Suddenly Ospina, jealous over Gibson’s new girlfriend, grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her ex.

Anti-War Judge Won’t Allow Foster Child to Join Marines
Judicial Activism item by Warner Todd Huston

Children’s Court Commissioner Marilyn Mackel of Simi Valley, California is against our actions in Iraq. With that said, this activist judge felt she had the right to prevent a foster child under her jurisdiction from joining the Marines. This refusal is an obscene abuse of power based solely on her hatred for the U.S. military. And she’s done this before.
