Sometimes the little things clue one into patterns.  The latest example of the Soviet mindset of the Obama-ites is the splitting up of the nefarious enterprise known as ACORN.  Having been caught with their dirty little fingers in a bunch of pies (involving allegations of embezzlement, misuse of pension funds, voter registration fraud, use of public funds on partisan activities, etc, ad nauseam) and having had their federal “grant money” sequestered last fall by Congress, this group of leftwing agitators has taken a ploy right out of the Soviet play book.

During the tsarist regime in pre-revolutionary Russia, the Tsar’s secret police was known as the Chrezvychajnyj Komitet (abbreviated ChK and pronounced Cheka).  Well, to show the masses how liberating their movement was, one of the first steps the Soviets did under Lenin was to abolish the Cheka and replace it with the GPU (I won’t bore you with any more full Russian names of these organizations).  Most people thought, “Wow!  At last the hated Cheka was gone!”.  Well, actually, no it wasn’t.  In fact, many of the harshest members of the old tsarist Cheka were placed in the GPU and helped train the newbies in secret police tactics.  That went along for a couple of years until folks started figuring out that this was just another monster in sheep’s clothing.  So, it was “reformed” and re-named the OGPU.

Then, Stalin changed the name a few years later to NKVD.  They became so hated that after Stalin’s death, his successors did another “reform” job and replaced the NKVD with the MVD, which later became the MGB, and finally mutated into the KGB.  Same folks, same tactics, same terror, same brutality, but always a different name. 

Now we learn that ACORN is “disbanding”.  Really?  Well, it turns out that they’ve just decentralized their operation and re-named the local units.  Biggovernment.com has done the homework and uncovered some interesting facts about this latest sleight of hand.

In New York, we now have the NYCC (the “New York Committee for Change").  In Boston, it’s now the “New England United for Justice” operation, while in California it’s morphed into the ACCE ("Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment").  Turns out the addresses of the headquarters are the same, as no doubt are the thugs and hucksters running the operations on the ground.  But, not to worry, in typical Soviet style, ACORN will soon be no more.

One wonders how much more hard evidence the American sheeple need in order to brand these thugs and goon squads for what they are: Communist front organizations working to destroy the Republic from within!  Worst of all, they’re using American taxpayer dollars to do their dirty work.

Oh, and it turns out there’s now a video tape showing Senator Barack Obama singing the praises of ACORN a few years ago, stating that, were he ever to become President of the USA, ACORN wouldn’t have to call him.  No, no.  He would be calling them.  Just as he has the thug union outfit known as SEIU.

Nice job, Democrats.  You’ve elected a pro-Communist hard left ideologue as “president” of the USA and given him a hard left Democrat Congress with which to work.  But, not to worry.  They’ll all no doubt soon abandon the label “progressive” in favor of something more nebulous and innocuous.  Something like “modern day populists”, or some such legerdemain.  Swell!  But the NKVD was still there in the KGB and ACORN thugs will still be at the side of “The One” stealing elections, strong-arming banks to grant “loans” to their friends, intimidating voters at the polls, etc, etc,—all at taxpayer expense. 

Please, Democrats.  Please, PLEASE don’t “help” American anymore.  The old Chinese proverb is coming to the fore: “Never ask a monkey for help, for the more help he gives you, the more help you’ll end up needing”.
