Leader of Terrorist-Linked Group Speaks at Democrat Convention
Demercrats Sher Zieve

Once again showing that the Democrats’ ‘large umbrella’ appears to include terrorists and terrorist-linked groups, the president of The Islamic Society of North America - Ingrid Mattson - spoke Sunday at the Democrat National Convention in Denver.  This is the same Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) that has admitted to ties with terrorist Hamas, has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation’s terrorist-funding case and also has admitted ties to the militant terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood.  I have written in the past that leftist Democrats consider terrorism to be ‘just another ideology’.  This latest Democrat Party action pretty much proves my point.  Question:  Is this what the Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama means when he says he will “change America?”   More...

Ruff And Ready
Islam David Tatosian

”I believe in the Constitution, I believe in the bill of Rights, and I believe it protects our freedom and our right to believe in a religion that you choose. I do not want them replaced with a system that institutionalizes discrimination against women and non-Muslims, something I think all Americans should be concerned about…Question: Is America ready to engage in a process of having a state (Sharia) within the state? I don’t believe so.” (Parenthesis mine) Frankfort Township Assessor Paul J Ruff’s press conference responding to an alleged anti-Muslim email Mr. Ruff forwarded to friends this past June.   More...

The New Jesus: Obama Be Thy Name
Elections Doug Giles

A buddy of mine in Texas sent a friend of his, an Obama backer, a devastating article written by Dr. Jack Wheeler in which he spotlights in 398 words the fact that Barack, in reality, is much different from the fabricated Jesus image the Dim-o-crats would have us worship.    More...

How NOT to Have Electricity
GreeenIsm Alan Caruba

Electricity is so commonplace that no one gives any thought to not having access to it. Few give any consideration to how it is generated, but we are now being inundated with the most virulent nonsense about how wind or solar power is “clean” and practically “free.” Every week there’s some new proposal to cover the nation with wind farms and solar panels.   More...

Islamists Rule American Publishing Industry
Islam Warner Todd Huston

America is the land of liberty. It is the place where political expression is protected by law and custom. It is the freest nation on Earth… unless, of course, you wish to talk about Islam. Then, unless you bow and scrape, unless you assert its supposed peacefulness, unless you bend over backwards to make sure that you don’t “offend” Islamists, you will be shut down. At least this is true if you wish to publish a book about Islam, it appears.   More...

Obama Is Europe’s “Vision” For America
Elections Christopher G. Adamo

Fawning over Barack Obama as they did during his recent overseas campaign swing, those cheering multitudes of Europeans said much more about themselves than they did about either Illinois Senator and Democrat presidential candidate or the best course to chart for the future of the United States. Somewhat surprisingly, and despite all of the dutiful and harmonious consensus of Obama’s lackeys in the American media, his campaign gained little credibility from the venture.   More...

America’s Political Gag Reflex
Elections Lee Culpepper

With Obama’s lead in the polls disappearing, a steady stream of doubt is now being poured over Obama’s nervous and inverted campaign. The great orator appears ready to crack. Soon, Obama could be flip-flopping so swiftly that the infamous 90 seconds required to break someone through waterboarding will seem like eternity. If swearing to be a born-again conservative would make him president, Obama would find a way to deliver the announcement and still pacify his government-dependent audience.   More...

A Great Lakes Eco ‘Catastrophe’ That ISN’T
GreeenIsm Warner Todd Huston

The Chicago Tribune posted a story(1) in the July 30 edition that highlights the often absurd hyperbole all too common in the language of environmentalists and eco-watchers. The story detailed the findings of scientists studying Lake Michigan and the ecology of the Great Lakes, one of them saying it is in “catastrophic” shape. Native fish and vegetation are being crowded out by new species and the “Great Lakes are at a tipping point” the Trib warns. It’s all presented as some major disaster that should alarm us all, as if Mother Nature is being ruined, presumably by man.   More...

US Arctic Oil May be LOST to the UN
Energy Alan Caruba

“The Arctic may hold 90 billion barrels of oil, more than all the known reserves of Nigeria, Kazakhstan, and Mexico combined, and enough to supply U.S. demand for 12 years.” One would have thought Joe Carroll’s Bloomberg News report would have evoked some interest by the public and other media outlets. Instead, news of the U.S. Geological Survey was greeted mostly by a giant collective yawn.   More...

Global Warming Challenged by New Data and Failed Predictions
GlobalWarming Mary Mostert

The American Physical Society (APS), representing over 50,000 physicists, has re-opened the discussion of the issue of global warming. In 2007 the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concluded that more than half of the “Global warming” of the past 50 years (IPCC, 2007) had been caused by CO2 emissions from humans and that human activity would cause further rapid warming . That conclusion is now being challenged by new data and the failure of old data to predict what has actually happened to the climate since 2001.   More...
